Floor Them
When a prospective buyer steps foot in the door, the first thing they typically notice is what they are stepping on. If it's old carpet, that could be a big initial turn off. If it's dirty old carpet, it's definitely a turn off. Replacing flooring is a step in the right direction to stage your property for a quick sale. Some cost efficient ideas that are on trend right now are wood laminate and ceramic tile that looks like wood. The photo in the top right is actually ceramic tile. It's durable and easy to clean. The photo on the bottom right is a wood laminate that is also a cinch to clean and works well in almost any room. It's probably a good bet to replace bedroom carpet with a nice, neutral plush but laminate and tile could work in all the other spaces which would create a nice continuous flow throughout the home.
